Seabed Mining Infographics

In 2017-2018 I produced a series of four infographics for Pew’s Seabed Mining campaign geared at informing the International Seabed Authority and the general public about the fauna and features that may fall into mining claim areas. Each infographic contained a map and a series of spot illustrations accompanied by facts about the area. There was a lot of research involved in creating both the maps and illustrations; I received relatively little direction beyond the claim area shapefiles and fact write-ups. This afforded me room to explore and develop a story within the products.
